Blind As A Bat!

Me lah!!!!

I still had one more pair of contact lens this morning, but donno why thought they belonged to H. So hopped over to the optical shop to purchase another box ...... As my current pair of glasses has not been that clear lately, I decided to have my eyes checked as well. It has been ages since I last checked my eyes, think definitely more than 5 years.

Told the optician that my glasses aren't clear anymore...but my contacts are still okay. I can read, watch telly, drive with no problems with my contacts.

WALIOW!!! Had a shock to see that the computer read-out was -11.00.
Really gonna be BLIND liow!!!!!!!!
Manual checks brought down the requirement to -10.00.
This is still hell of a lot!!!
Immediately, I thought "Heck! No need to wait till I'm 40 to do Lasik lah. Think I wanna do it this Summer already!"
Told H to start saving money...to buy this very expensive birthday present for me.... and he agreed that at -10.00, Lasik is the way to go....
So, it's decided. Will do Lasik this summer when I am back in PJ. I've got to start reading up on this procedure and check out the latest developments in this treatment.
For eyes...cannot scrimp lah. Must be the best, ...safest and most effective with no side effects at all.
Currently, the best place to do it is over at The Curve??? Or where???
It's about RM 5 K per eye??

Anyway, got myself a new pair of glasses...from good 'ole Giorgio Armani. The guy brought out a really nice pair of Pradas...but the Prada is see-peh-kui, i.e double of the Giorgio one leh. And as the prescription was also see-peh high, I wanted the thinnest glass available.
WALIOW! Another shock. Costs like USD 150/- just for the lens.
SIOW!!!
So downgraded abit lah... opted for the Hi-Index one which was a third of the the price....
Can't collect till next Tuesday.... DON'T ask me why soooooo long one????
