i guess my mum would hurt too if i told her she nag too much... but mum being mum.. the nagging will just continue... just to make sure everything went well for the kids...
I like to use sacarsm to tackle my kid's bad behaviour. I let my daughter know my feeling very clearly if she misbehave. "you know, mama was very angry and very upset, and soooo sad because you didn't listen to mama, mama love you sooo much, you love mama or not?..."
It's easier for me because my daughter is only 3yo. But have you tried women's most powerful weapon? Use your tears.... Sometimes when I see see my mum got really fed up and cried, I tend to behave a little bit nicer for a period of time... :) but of course, she rarely cry...

That's what I think too.. But eventually we have to learn to let go.. :)
Linda - Mine are boys lah... Think they are oblivious to anything that are of no interest to them like their mom's moods/feelings??
