As mentioned in one of my previous post, H surprised me with a new Canon IXUS 950 IS last week. I'm still fiddling with the camera's features. The camera came with an additional 1 GB memory card. However, it only came with one rechargeable battery. I think I should get spare rechargeable batteries for this new camera. Don't you think? I definitely would be kicking myself hard if I miss a perfect picture moment due to zilch power in my battery!

Canon is a great camera. I just bought one for my daughter.
I prefer cameras that use double A batteries so that if one is out and the battery is dead, one can just pop into a shop and get batteries.
I always carry lots of spare recharged double A batteries.

Grandmotherstories - But this canon doesn't use double AA batteries wor... I also think that is very convenient... with chargeable batteries, forget the charger then chamm liow...
haha.. we negotiated for 2GB card. i bought mine 2 months ago. N just bought hers this week
