Was just chatting with a friend this morning about our "dilemma". She said her husband kept nagging her to start a business since she is a stay-at-home mom at the moment. Me three, too risk-averse to invest. Agree with Sweetiepie that steady job seems less stressful than trying to make it out on their own... initial set-up years are always the toughest. Sweetiepie - Not only stress. Risky also. I had a friend's hubby that quit his job to open a restaurant. Think the restaurant only lasted 6 months. All the money and effort put in.
bp - If just a side business to start with..think at least not so bad. But if totally quit job and relying on business...I supposed must have a big stash of cash to tide over the times when the business is just starting.
