Party by the Lake

S2's Friend had his birthday party today at a club. It was held on a shady garden by the lakeside. It was quite pleasant. Boys had great fun on the bouncy castle. There was also face painting, kite painting, T-shirt painting, magic show, balloon sculpting. Kids could also make their own personalized cups. The party ended with a "SpiderMan" piñata. As usual, all the kids CHARGED like bulls the moment the piñata broke and revealed the sweets within! The birthday boy then gave out the party bags to the guests. I have to say that quite alot of money must have been spent on the party. The party planner, the food, drinks, cake, piñata, materials for the activities and the party bags. Each party bag is filled with a box of "Spiderman 3" Stationery, "Spiderman 3" DVD Pocket Storage, "Spiderman 3" Badge, Sports Water Bottle, Box of Colour Pencils and a matchbox-sized car. My party bags for my boys' birthday parties pale by comparison!

Misha's Mum - That's the problem of going to International School... many rich kids. I always have to tell my kids, our family is NOT like their friend's family. And we don't own a MONEY PRINTING machine!
