Yup!! We'll be back for Christmas. Boys and I are flying off next Wednesday, i.e. 20th Dec - 5 more days to go. H will only be flying back on the 22nd Dec, after work. Originally, all of us were to depart KLIA on New Year's Eve but there's been a change of plans. H's boss "suggested" that he don't take the week off. Their company merged with another, and they are integrating their admin&operations... They will all be working for the NEW merged-company come 1st Jan 2007. So now, H's booked to fly back on the Christmas Day! Yup! Christmas Day wor... Boxing Day is a working day maa... But we'll still stick to our original plan of departing KLIA on 31st Dec.
So, with this change, we have to postpone our supposedly getaway. Originally, we wanted to dump the two boys with their grandparents and we jet off one..now where can?? And then H said go to the States in January wor.. Aiya wait for him to book flights first, then I need to go make my American Visa. Hope they don't think that I want to "tiu fei kei" and work as dishwasher woman in Americano... :-P
Back to me being back home... Call me to have tea/lunch/dinner OKAY? Call my mom's house lah....
Have to load up on some stuff too ...eg, Campbell's soup, Maggi Mee, Colgate.. Here got lah...but kinda expensive leh. Campbell's soup, in Malaysia is like RM 3.19 for a can, over here it's like USD 1.70. Colgate is USD 2.10 for the 175 g tube. Dettol is USD 2.60 for 250 mL. No lah..not all brands so expensive...think Colgate is expensive because it's imported..you can actually get toothpaste by Unilever (they have manufacturing here) for 70 US cents for 175 g tube..but we are not used to the taste lah... Buying groceries here must be very very vigilant one. Things may look the same, but if you pick up something that's imported, the price can be scarily high... like Milo. Saw this imported Milo (from some European country, cannot remember liow) which costs USD 10 per tin. But the locally manufactured Milo (by the local Nestle la...not bootleg ones) is like USD 1.20. Siow or not???

Year 2 Christmas Carols....
Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas!!!!
Okay..abit early lah..but went to S2's Christmas Carols at school this afternoon. Wanted to include the short video clip, but don't know how..so, just the picture for the moment until I improve on my blogging skills.
Sports Day!!!
Tuesday, 12th December 2006
It was the Primary School's Sports Day.... Of course, good mommy such as I am (ahem! ahem!) went to show support lah. As S1's house colour is RED, obviously I wore RED in support for his team ler.. I had RED slippers and RED cap too. He he he...
Anyway, S1 took part in the long jump and 80 m hurdles. For the long jump (boys), he was 4th out of 7 jumpers. His final jump was actually quite good, but was struck-out because he stepped on the plank. As the the 80 m hurdles, he came out third out of four runners. He was quite close to the second guy lah. Here, S1 is seen with some of his team mates. Overall, their House came out Second. Only ten points behind the champions...

Oh No!! Maid destroyed my Top!!
*Sigh* My maid just came to tell me that she ironed my top and "something happened". Spoilt say spoitl lah... something happen wor. What the heck is that? I told her to just bring it to me to show me. And you guessed it, she ironed it when it's not supposed to be ironed lor. I bought the top in Canada some more...where to find now?? Surprisingly, I didn't scream at her. No point ler. Just told her to LOOK at the label next time, or ask me. I think she also very smart lah, before she told me about my top, she handed me about RM 20 and said that H left it in his pocket....show me she's honest first, then break the bad news on my baju. Well,...it there's any consolation, all my previous maids that's worked for me (for a decent amount of time) sure got burn one of my garment during ironing one... so, maybe it's a sign that this maid will work for me for awhile???

Finally...Booking Done!!
Countdown to Bangkok....
After numerous hours of trying to book my flight on Singapore Airlines...I finally did it!! But wariao...so expensive lah. My return flight to Bangkok costs USD 417/-. "Paeng makk". For those who don't know, going to Bangkok with a bunch of patt-pohs in January '07...5 other patt-pohs actually. They are all flying AirAsia from KUL to BKK. So, meeting them at BKK Airport. My flight's arriving 20 minutes later than theirs, so they got to wait for me alittle bit lor.
Staying one extra day... cause otherwise the return flight timing very leceh. My patt-poh friend said "Wa..you stay one day extra, not scared ah? Don't pick up strangers!!" Anyway, want to meet up with my ex-landlady for dinner. Texted her about my impending visit and she was like so excited... So.. Now, just have to surf to search for discount hotels...

H and I went to a dinner held at the Le Meridien with other parents of S2's class and the class teacher (without kids.. and S2 was like "Not fair. I want to go see my teacher!"). Went to the middle eastern restaurant. Starter was quite good, but the main (I chose the mixed grill) was damn dry man. I took a bite of the bbq minced something and couldn't swallow it. Want to "pui" it out also don't know where to "pui". Had to get it down into my throat with a BIG gulp of my white wine. Wa... horrible-est mixed grill I ever had. Teacher said that S2 look just like H... this is the first time she has met H. I've been telling her that S2's bad spelling is from H. Hee hee :-)

Went round looking for a TV stand around our area. H drove (gave driver the day off) and had a very very close call. Stupid motorcyclist whizzed across our path as we were turning. Really really "zhang tit tit" langgar the fella. Really idiots that don't give a damn about their lives!! ...Didn't find anything lah. Things like very expensive.. and H was very irritated with the pricing (???) and then like want to fight with those salespeople... Aiya, what for??
Also, S1 had a angmoh friend over to play. They played games, swam and played more games. Was gonna serve the kids Penang Char Kway Teow, but H said that the "kweichai" don't know how to eat lah.. and so I gave him a choice of Fried Kway Teow or leftover macaronin and cheese...obviously, he chose the mac&cheese lor.

Took boys to their swimming class. Wariow....their coach was training the boys to use their muscles... and they had to swim freestyle with just their arms. Legs had to "kiap" a piece of foam and not move. So ciatlatt... I see them also like so very very difficult. Have to say the boys are quite good now. But of course room for more improvement. Am surprised with S2 especially. He was sooooooo afraid of the water in the beginning of the term, and now, he can swim 25 m freestyle non-stop and quite ada gaya somemore...
From swimming, we had to rush to town for S2's friend's birthday party at the bowling alley. Dropped H and S1 off at a mall (S1 donwan to follow...thinks the birthday party all kiddies). Wa.. the party pack like very good wor. There's a Superman bag, Superman pencil case, A superman file/notebook and some crayons. Am worried when S2's birthday comes in February. I so cheapo... don't know leh.. Aiya..worry later lah hor..
Went home..slept like a pig...Really like Pig only man. Anyway, H then woke me up. Had to get ready to go to Hard Rock Cafe by 7 pm. H was meeting some colleagues to check out the band playing there..they want to have a company party wor.. So, we (kids and I) tagged along... When we reached there, there was a MEGA long Q. But think had some arrangement with the manager, so didn't Q lah. Of course, HRC was bloody loud lah...Boys were complaining like crazy. I told S1.. give a few years..you don't go lie to me and go to discos.. and S1 said "I will never go to discos forever!"... Yeah, right!!! As company paying, KIASU me stuffed myself lah..think the final chocolate sundae was the killer. Balik rumah, burped and then my dinner ended up in the porcelain throne!!! Yuck!!!

I am a MAN!!
My 9 year old announced "I am a man!" today.... I was like "arrr??" and then he added "I may not look like a man. BUT I feel like a man!!" and then stormed off?? Is my baby really turning into a man?? He told me he's got something on his chin...I think it's a pimple. And his molar is loose. The last time I met with his dentist, he said that milk-molars normally will be replaced at the age of 11 years. But my boy is only 9! And not 9-going-to-10.... kind. He just turned 9 not so long ago.
Someone sent me an article "10 is the new 13" or something like that. It cites that kids these days are acting more like teenagers earlier, i.e 10... Gosh.. I very takut lah. Oh yeah.. and he came back today telling me about ??? (cannot remember name) has a crush on a girl named Helen. 9 years old?? Hellllloooooo????

Australian/NZ Christmas Bazaar
Went to the ANZA Christmas Bazaar last Tuesday with mom. These are some of the stuff that I got.... When I showed H the costume jewellery, he was like "oh my god! What happened to your taste??" ... hehehe.. Actually, when I was looking at them, I was like saying "sure H will say 'what happened to your taste these days?'" ... I was right, huh? But I thought quite nice what.. also these days, these things are very "hing".
This pair costs about RM 30. It's those look-alike-jade thingys with chinese knots.
Anyway, mom was shopping with me (we left granny in the house with the maid) and she said "angmoh all buy lapp sapp" as she surveyed all the mm-sam-mm-sei stuff on display. Ha ha ha.. but she did buy some patterned cloth wine bags with batik motif, and she's still figuring out what she's gonna do with them. She's also wondering where were the paper wine bags that she bought in Thailand donkey years ago... At least 5 years ago!!! When I was living there!!! Probably all makan by moths already, I reckoned!!
As I was saying, we left grandma in the house... we left the house like at 9 am and was gone till about 3.50 pm. According to my maid, grandma was pacing and she kept asking her to "sleep". And grandma on the other hand told me the same thing..that maid ask her to sleep.. and she asked the maid what time boys coming back etc etc.. I was amazed with the "kai thoong ngap kong" ... both of them actually understood each other. Well, grandma obviously was very restless lah.. and queried us why we were sooooo long! We went to bazaar, had lunch, then went to buy some layer cake for gifts and then off to the the supermarket to buy groceries for dinner (we had our local relative over for dinner that night) wor.. of course took longer than usual..plus the traffic jams were a killer that day...

The necklace is about RM 120, and it's from turquoise. Kinda like turquoisey things.. The earring very cheap, only RM 10.
Shoes are from some kind of skin.. whether cow or snake or whatever..but costs RM 80 a pair. No..have not shown H these shoes yet.

Present from H
H came back from the States last week... bought me tons of US magazines. Of course not finished reading lah. As it is, have not even finish reading (or even started on some) those that he bought from Singapore. And also bought me this Tod's Wallet. I supposed I must have not shown enough enthusiasm when he gave it to me as he asked "you don't like it?". Instead of saying "thanks", I should have gone "oh my gawd! It's soooooo beautiful. I love it! It's always what I wanted. Lei tui ngo chann hai hou ker chiek! muak! muak! "
But I did tell him that I loved the Bose iPod docking station that he bought for the house. Really made the house livelier..not so quiet when boys not around. He seemed delighted that I actually liked it. Guessed the way to make a man happy is to show that he's made you happy... (Important lesson!!)

More about my Boys...Angels and Demons..
Angels...
S2 came into H's TV room last night while I was watching telly, and S1 followed suit while holding onto my laptop. I was gonna scream at them already (for moving my laptop all over the place as they might drop it on the floor or whatever) and then S2 said "mom, I put flowers onto your desktop. I found the flowers in the internet and downloaded it. I gave you the flowers because you are such a good and wonderful mom!". Aiyo...like that how to scold???? I was gonna upload the flowers onto this post, but dumbo-gal dunno how to do it lah...
and Demons...
S1 came back from school the other day and went "douddididaday..?" and I was like "huh? what?", and he went "doudididdaday?"... and guessed what? He then told me "mom, if you slow it down, it says Do you lick a dick a day?"
Alamak!!! What do they learn from school?? And then S1 added "mom, you know ar..the British call the chiow-chiow Dick! Why do they call the chiow-chiow Dick?" . How to answer this kind of question?? When I told H, he looked at me and then ask me "how about you lick a dick a day? ". H aside, back to boys,... guessed it's the part and parcel of growing up. At least, he's sharing such things with me.
I have a friend, she has two boys too, but hers are already 15 and 13 years old... she told me what her boys said..damn funny. She said her younger one said "aiya.. kor-kor everyday play with himself one, that's why always tired" and also one time, her younger one pulled the mother's hand and put it onto his groin and said "mommy-ah ..mor lit tou hou song ar"... ha ha ha. I asked her what did she say to him...all she said was "it's like that one. That is life!"... ha ha ha .
Oh..friend's nephew went up to the grandma and said "Ah-Ma, you have breasts and I have nipples!"...
Hahaha KIDS....

As for S2, S2's got a Christmas Carol Performance next Wednesday...Of course, I will go and see his performance la..choong sai munn meh??!!!??. Have to say that he knows quite a lot of songs.. Am impressed with my little baby. Okay, not so baby anymore.
Then..Friday, 15th Dec will be the last day of school... S2 will be ecstatic!! When we were still in KL, S2 used to say "I love School in November and December the BEST! Cause it's holiday time!! Ha ha ha".. and when he went into the British School, he was like "huh?? You mean I have school in November and December??"
Speaking of school.. need to polish-up on my general knowledge.. S2 came back the other and announced "the inventions of George Stevenson, Wright Brothers and Henry Ford". I knew the latter two..but was wondering "who the hell is George Stevenson?". S2 told me that he is the inventor of Steam engine wor... Had to check up on the web leh.. So cialatt.. And he learnt about Gunpowder Plot & Guy Fawkes and I was like "huh? huh?". S1 on the other hand is doing Ancient Greece. Again, I was like "huh? huh?". Lann See H has great interests in history, thus read alot about world history and such. Of course he then knows all about Ancient Greece and Gunpowder Plot stuff la.. and lann see lann yong lah.. with "your mother dont know one lah..ask me lah". Aye.. even better still...kids no need my help for homework. I go tidur better still...

Have Not Been Well...
Have not been feeling well yesterday. Woke up fine, had some cookies and milk for breakfast (boys were having it and it was easy...as maid was on her off-day). Not long later, felt like crap...went to have a nap. Woke up, made some udon soup for lunch for the boys (just the two boys...H went for a golf tournament...). Ate a little bit as don't feel too well. Arms and Legs were kinda lembik and the belly like very funny feeling. Gave boys the passport to heaven, i.e. play their PS2 and Gameboys while I nap more... Later in the evening, told H that I weren't feeling well..and his first question was "you are not pregnant, are you??" . Well..no lah.. Of course not pregnant lah.. Told a friend and she said "ha ha ha..you must be allergic to semen!" Aiyo... Well, went to bed at 7 PM last night...MEGA EARLY!!
Anyway, think it's a bout of food poisoning of some sort. This morning, went to the loo a couple of times.. At least the kaki/tangan lembik-ness is gone.

Had an interview today...
Went for an interview today...for a part-time contract job. It's a petchem company...know the CEO's wife... we go to the market together.. and she told her hubby about me, and we had a chat, and later got his Project Manager to call me for this "interview". But think they are more akin to hiring someone that can go to the plant frequently. Told them MAXIMUM I can go is two times a week. When I told H about it..he was like "wasn't it supposed to be only once a week?" Anyway, we'll see what comes out of it lah... Before the interview, was telling H that I may need coaching on my interview skills lah... and he said "no need lah. Just be your talkative self". Well, true enough.. I think I was rather talkative!!! I bet you guys sure say "yeah lah.. you sooooooo big mouth!!" Ha ha ha.
My interview or rather chat was at 8 am, ended at 9 am. Was still sooo early... didn't want to go home because my mom was coming for a visit, and I was to pick her up at about 11.30 am from the airport. No point in going home, putting up my legs for 10 minutes and coming out again.. So, what do I do?? Went for a facial lor.. facial took a tad longer than expected, it ended at 11.20 am and rushed to the airport. Reached there at about 12 pm, and my mom was already out at the pavement already.. And she said flight arrived at 11.40 am. I was like LUCKY man. If flight arrive at 11.20 am, she would be on the pavement waiting at 11.35 am, and I would have felt guilty as hell.
Anyway, took them for lunch and then home lor. Called the masseuse over ... Mom had a body massage and my grandma (came with mom) had a foot reflex. Very cheap!! RM 20 for 2 hours!!
Okay lah... very sleepy liow...

Wanna Cheat our Money..
I don't think I updated this piece of information.. remember my accident? The "victim" fella tried to cheat money. Told us hospital bill $$$ and H's secretary actually gave them ~ RM 1200 and they were saying not enough blah blah blah, but when the car leasing company guy went, he said the hospital bill only came up to ~RM 800. Don't know why we didn't think of calling the Car Leasing Company when the accident happened...totally slipped our mind. So..moral of the story is "Don't DRIVE here !!

Memory is Failing...
Aiyo...am I getting old or am I getting old? My memory is bad! And I mean bad!! First, I forgot the internet banking access number...which is bad, but excusable cause never use at all..Then today, wanted to withdraw money, input the wrong pin three times, and absolutely cannot try again. Would have to go to the bank to reset the pin number. H was very upset because I forgot such important things, and secondly, he is leaving the country early tomorrow morning and he's already withdrew the max limit for the day today...so can't withdraw more money for me until tomorrow. Thus, he'll have to wake up extra early tomorrow morning to get me some cash to sustain me for the week.... *sigh* I am quite disappointed with myself lah.. How can I forget one leh?? I never use to forget such important things leh... Also find lately that I forget other things too... like tap running lah, and just now... I actually deleted my driver's mobile number without realising it ...couldn't find the number when H asked me to call him to come pick us up after dinner. Of course H lagi frus la... forget Pin number, and now lost driver's number... He just mumbled in the loo "you lah...make me got to wake up one hour earlier"... To go get money for me ma...

Only One Maid Now...
Okay... I know I know...Not Maid updates again... but must lah...since maids are such an integral part of our lifestyle these days...
Anyway, I offered Maid-Y more money to be the only maid in the house. Initially, she declined. (Aiya..the maids here are like that one. Want company and don't want to do everything in the house. They are supposed to be "specialised"). I offered her because so far, after Maid-A left, she has been alone doing the chores for about 3 weeks already anyway. So I know she can somewhat handle it lah. Plus think I can close one eye with just one maid if things are not "perfect". With two maids, very "mang chang" when things are still not done to my standard leh. Also, if things are missing...there's only one person you can point finger to.
As I was gonna get another maid to come in, she said that she will try to work alone for a month or two. And she asked if she can have an additional day off. I said OK. Boys are big enough..don't need to be looked after that closely. Anyway, I offered her about RM 100 extra plus eat whatever food we eat. Previously, she has to buy her own food from her RM 240 pay. So now, I pay her RM 340, she eats my food and get an additional day off. So, think she's got quite a good deal.
So, will see lah... Have a maid on standby end-Nov. Malaysian lady leaving for home... So, will see...

My Boys...
Boys came back from school yesterday at their usual time... Before they even walked through the front door, S1 blurted "I got TWO detentions today!" and S2 was whining and about to cry. Apparently, S1 had not completed his homework that was due aaaaages ago. He was reminded by his teacher over and over again, and still did not do it. Thus the detentions. As for S2, I saw him clutching the school lunch vouchers (about RM 4 worth) which he shouldn't have on him, because I did not give him money to buy any vouchers, nor his age entitles him to buy vouchers from school. He was whining and starting to cry.. and said that "a boy asked me to go to the back of the bus! He took my place!". Then S1 added on "he was very annoying. So a boy gave him the vouchers and ask him to move to the back. And he did!"... Basically, my son's accepted a "bribe" of some sort. Told him that he shouldn't be crying...cause he accepted the vouchers in exchange for the deed of moving to the back of the bus. When I told H.., he said "Smart!".. RM 4 can buy a subway sandwich, or 3 scoops of ice-cream, or 2 boxes of fruit juices lah... So, not bad, huh?? he he he...
Oh yeah..this morning.. S2 came into my room and gave me about RM 8 (btw, he LOVES his money). I asked him why he gave that to me? As he could buy about 6 ice-creams from that money. And he said "Because I love you!"... That's my sweet little baby....errr actually not that baby anymore...

Feeling Depressed...
Don't know why...but feeling rather depressed today. Maybe it's the PMS or something else...I don't know. Just very sien. Period is due in about a week's time. So, could very well be PMS, right??
Maybe also worried about the loan repayment for the apartments down under...Have not been really checking as thought the property managers handling it well. Then found out one of the tenants vacated one of the apartments without paying the rent. And they are frantically trying to get the bond. *sigh* which means that payment has not been made to my bank account which means the mortgage has not been paid.
On top of that, the property manager of the other place called me yesterday and told me that the cooker hood needs to be replaced at AUD 595, and he needed my go-ahead for the replacement. Of course I have to agree lah. He's gonna take it off the rent, which means less money into the bank, which means much more needs to be top up into the account to pay the mortgage.
Sien Sien Sien. I don't work now some more...how how how?? Am just gonna let H know about the situation, and let him sort it out. Have to sound positive and not depressed. Hope he can sort it out in the shortest of time... Am so tired of all the hassle lah. Anyone who wants advice about buying property overseas ??? Don't!! It's just a pain in the A$$. All the make $$$ from your property is quite "ngak-yann" one lah... there are alot of hidden costs that you need to pay. As it is, we need to top-up money every month for the mortgage.... where got make money??? Only consolation is that it forces us to send money over there, rather than spend it, I guessed. Other than that... not a real investment lah.
Enough of all this...make me lagi depressed...Better think of some positive stuff...'

Some Updates...
Maids
New maid, i.e Maid-A worked only five days, and cabut on Monday... but thankfully, Maid-Y came back to work on Wednesday morning after her week-long unpaid leave. So, am asking around to get another maid. People commented that my blog is always about maids...but what to do?? They are such a hassle. Can't live with them, and can't live without them. In Malaysia, you complain complain also same maid, so got limited things to complain after awhile. But here, ppl change maids like change underwear (as my friend mentioned today...) so always got something new to talk about one. As it is, I have two other friends who have maid problems. One has a maid that forever does disappearing acts, and another friend has a "siew cheh" maid that decided that she didn't want to work yesterday... So, I think the Maid topic will remain for awhile lah....
Why I need two maids?? With one maid ah..things not perfect also cannot exactly scold the maid. With two maids, at least can expect some perfection lah... maybe not perfection, but at least I can ask the question "why this toilet not clean??". With one maid, she can say "got to do other things blah blah blah". So, I don't bother to ask lah. Oh yeah... I fought with the maid agent. I went there to get a maid, and he was giving me hassle and being arrogant and all...say what I pay the maids won't be enough. Think just because I foreigner am gullible meh?? I am not ang moh, okay?? Also, the maids that he has also like so tarik harga. So, fai-see ler. Also don't want to get maids that work for ang moh one. They are damn spoilt ones, and probably very cin-cai too because ang moh never have maids before, so damn happy that got somebody to do their housework for them, so they don't care one. For me? WHere can?? I got colour coded pails and brooms for inside and outside of house, for kitchen etc. Different mops etc. Also different pails for floor and tables etc etc. Work for ang-moh one sure campur everything in one pail. I will faint lah!! ... Anyway, the search for another maid continues...
Melbourne Cup
I went to my first Melbourne Cup Charity Brunch on Tuesday. Yup! Did wear a hat! Bought the hat really really last minute. Bought it on Monday. Wanted to buy on Saturday, but H said it was ugly lah etc etc...but cannot find lah. So, die-die also have to go and buy the most decent looking one. I improvised a bit lah. I tore out the thingy that was stuck on the hat (have to say it was kinda ugly. Think it's supposed to be a flower but don't look like it), bought a ribbon from the giftshop and a fabric rose brooch and pin in on my hat... ..looks kinda decent, right. Won some money too... horse got second place, but the money won only cover the $$ I spent on buying the sweeps...better than nothing ler. Oh..btw, the horse was named "Pop Rock". It was no where in sight...only accelerated towards the last 50 metres or so. ... Anyway, it was like drink drink drink and eat eat eat... Have to say that I was a little bit zonked out when I got home a little after 3 pm. Thought I would still beat the school bus...but guard said S2 already home. Gave him permission to play his game (omigod!! Bad mommy!! On a weekday!!) and I slept during my massage (got the lady to come round to the house)... Felt better after the little nap!! And guess what? After dinner, I got boys to do their homework, and I was like doing something around the house lah...then S2 was calling out for me to help with some work, and then he comment "hello? you have to help us with our work, you know...not just stay at home and drink champagne all day!!".. Waliow!! Let my 6 year old scold!!
Handbags
Here are the pictures of my two new handbags...aiya... when I upload forgot to rotate...too lazy lah.
Birthday Parties
Over here...ppl are BIG on children's parties!! Some are very very elaborate. Went to a very "loong choong" birthday party for a 7 year old girl some weeks back. It was in the ballroom of a hotel. I've heard stories of children's loong choong parties held in hotels, but never been to one until now. At the entrance of the ballroom, got reception table for you to sign in lor, and then they have this HUGE styrofoam cut-out of birthday girl's name in Lilo/Stitch theme. Didn't take photo of this because like very samm-pah lah... the ones inside the ballroom can take because pretend to be taking picture of my son maa... The stage back-drop also very loong-choong, right? And have ppl dressed up as Lilo and Stitch some more... Cut cake on the stage lah..like wedding like that. Also got acrobatics of sorts. Hope my sons not gonna request such elaborate parties!!! S1 won't lah, but S2 forever changing one. One day want Swimming Party lah, another day, Star Wars Party, another day Mini-Golf Party, another day Bowling Party...etc etc.. Whatever it is, it's not going to be in a ballroom of a hotel lah!!

Handbags...
Well, H has been saying that he wants to buy me handbags..and I have been saying "aiya...we'll see ler. Said that you were gonna buy me handbag when in Singapore...also nothing one".. And he was like "Okay.. we'll go later today". So, we took boys to a birthday party today which was located inside a mall. We were walking around those designer shops before the party started... and guessed what? H bought me two handbags! One from TODs and the other from Gucci. Have to say that it was kinda ex-. Cannot imagine me buying such expensive stuff... did the usual wife thing of asking "can we afford this?" But H wants to buy...let him buy lor.. I spend his money better than some other stupid woman spend his money!!!! Bought the TODs first, then the Gucci, and I was leaving Gucci, I told H "Well, now you just need to get me a white bag!".. ha ha ha. He was like "wa... okay. Will buy you one when I go on my business trip". He he he.. My TODs is a beige/tanned suede bag, and Gucci is black leather with the little bow... Will put in picture next post.

New Maid!!!
Well,… Got a new maid!! Will call her Maid-M. She’s gonna start on 1st Nov. But is in the house now (31st Oct) to tidy her own room… Have to say that I am a little weary as to whether she can clean the whole house… she looks a little plump. I actually asked her if she was pregnant. He he he… Apparently, worked for a Chinese family for a year before, and they have 3 maids altogether…and I asked her if the size of their house is similar to mine, and she said that it was smaller…one cook, one cleaner and one babysitter.. So ber-banyak, don’t you think??
Actually, I was talking to this lady the other day…she actually has four hired help in her house!! Three maids and one house boy... I was like wondering...what do they do??? Thought I overpaid my maids already...hers one more leh. Although she pay them about RM 200/- (I pay mine RM 24o/-), she provides rice, sanitary napkins and extra RM 60 per month for food. Some more they eat soooo much rice one. Cialatt. Cialatt....

Ashtanga YOGA
Went for my first Yoga class on Monday (31st Oct) after 4 months of stoppage. Waliow!! ‘A see a cheng’ man. Am aching like no tomorrow the next day. Very cialatt because No.1 – long time never do yoga. No.2 – I was the only person there, so the instructor’s attention was all on me. So, obviously was like correcting my postures and pushing my limbs and body to the max!! Realized that I have been cheating in my Yoga sessions at Fitness First for the last 1 ½ years..hee hee hee. You know lah…Fitness First got like 20 over people or more in each class with only one instructor, sure don’t really check your postures one lah… So, you tend to bend knee here and there abit to make it less strenuous…
Anyway, signed up for ten classes at this Yoga place that is situated in a trendy boutique hotel. Price is okay, I thought.. about RM 370 for ten classes, that’s valid for 6 months. Can drop by whatever days I like. The yoga studio overlooks the pool and the city’s skyline. So quite nice, I have to say… It’s also got a spa! After Yoga, maybe can go for a nice body massage to ease all the muscle aches!! J Saw that they had some Body Package (scrub, massage, and two more thingy..can’t remember for RM 120 nett!!) Did check out the spa rooms, of course… very nice contemporary style. Will definitely go there after my yoga class one of these days…
Overall, was a good session…sweat so much…like huge BIG droplets over my eyes… I was like wiping and wiping…and the yoga instructor said that in Ashtanga Yoga, you are not supposed to wipe off the sweat because it then allows all your toxins to flow out…. Ooooohhhhh… “swa koo” from KL. And,… after the class, she did this OOOHHHMMMMM thing that’s supposed to be sound of universe in Sanskrit or something like that… Ooooooohhhhh… “swa koo” form KL again… Hee hee hee….

Kids these Days....
Kids these days are more techno-savvy than us man!! My 6 year old just ask me for a mobile phone so that he can DOWNLOAD games and music! Alamak!! I certainly don’t do downloads on my mobile phone. Neither does H. So, must be influence from school??!?? Also, he has been asking the father for a PDA… I was like asking S2 sarcastically “you know what is PDA, meh.. thinking that he doesn’t know what it is. And he said “of course! So that when I have parties to go to, I can just input the dates into my PDA” some more show me the ‘input’ action with those digital pen.
S1 also talking about iPODs and such… Aiyo….Aiyoyo. If I don’t stop H, he WILL indulge the boys with these gadgets. H was like asking me to give my iPOD (which I have yet to configure) to S1. I was like “NO WAY!”… As it is, we’ve given S1 one of H’s old phones, i.e. the Nokia N-Gage. But I can’t seem to find the game cartridges and now S1 is complaining that he wants a NEW phone!!! These kids!!! No. I’ve not allowed S1 to take the phone to school with him. He’s so irresponsible with stuff. Sure will lose it one. As it is, he’s lost his school’s name tag twice. It’s like no big deal, but the name tag is also a swipe card that allows the kid to purchase food and drinks at the tuckshop and cafeteria. I had the statement printed out the other day, and S1 was like I didn’t buy this and this and this. I was like “huh?? You see lah!! Lose you card and now I am feeding other people’s children???” Some more the food at the school so mahal some more. *sigh* How do you instill responsibility and accountability to kids these days????

Maid-A
Maid-A has gone AWOL...
She left on Saturday (21st Oct) night, and told me that she would return on Tuesday (24th) night. She didn't. And still not back nor called. Maid-Y told me that her stuff has all been cleared from the room. Anyway, I told Maid-Y to move into her room if she wants to (Maid-A has a bigger room cause she started work first so had chosen the bigger room earlier).
Actually, before she left, I already knew that she might not return..cause her uncle (my driver) already warned me. He told me that she is no good, and that I should get rid of her as he didn't want his name tarnished as it was he who brought her to our house. He told me that she goes out at night to talk to her boyfriend at night and that he has told the guards to lock her out if she does it again. Also told me that she tells the guards, him and Maid-Y different stories etc etc. So, we actually kept our more valuable stuff in the safe before her departure, in case she decides to take anything, and didn't give her the full month's pay. Didn't give her angpow also. But you know lah, what we deem as not valuable (so thus not kept in safe) may be deemed valuable to them. So, even if she did take some stuff, I also would not really know ler...
Anyway, this is very very common here. The maids go off during the festive season and never to return. H's customer was telling him that he had tried all sorts...money, leave, gifts etc etc to entice them to return after the festive holidays, but they never do. When I told H this morning, that the maid didn't return, he giggled and said that he will text his customer with "you are right. we just lost one..." Oh well.. Just maids anyway. Btw, Maid-A is the one that I see always taking afternoon naps.
So far, Maid-Y has been okay..other than the bedsheet incident. She somehow has more initiative. H notices too. Even when she rests, she keeps her room door open so that she could still respond when I call or when she hears the car come home. The other one, i.e. Maid-A don't bother one...really have to call and call. Well,..Maid-Y is going on her "festive" leave on Tuesday (1st Nov) for a week... we'll see if she will be a returnee or another AWOL person... :-)
Thought I would post a little bit about H.
Have to say that he was kinda sweet... when we went out shopping on Tuesday, I saw a dress at Next. It was kinda nice. I looked at the price tag and saw that it was about RM 340. Thought it was kinda expensive (you know me lah... where got buy things not on sale one...??) It was the right size some more.. Then H said "go try it on lah". So, I tried it on for fun lah... and it fits nicely. Then he said "It fits you! You look good. You have the bod for it! Get it". So...I got a new dress lor...
And yesterday, at the hospital... he was quite concerned about me. Kept asking if I was okay. He asked "do you want me to stay back and not fly?" Of course, I said "no need. Go. I am okay". He was like "These things you got to tell me one, okay. Don't like ask me to go, and then inside your heart says 'if he loves me, he will stay that kind of stuff'". I still said "no. it's okay. go"... then he went off to make more calls.. My friend was there, and I was kinda teary-eyed and told her "aiya..of course I want him to stay, right? Why he so stupid one leh. But I am not that kind of woman who will tell her man to stay and not go work".. Then she said "at least, yours touched you and constantly ask you if you are okay! When I fell and mouth bleeding, mine just stood there and ask if I am okay. Didn't even come hug or touch me to reassure me"... So there you go for "moak-tow" men??!!?? But H came back after making those calls and said that he has cancelled his trip, and that his boss will go to Frankfurt alone first, and revert with instructions the following day... Guessed, he is not so "moak-tow" after all.
Hope this incident has not caused any problems to his work...

Horrible horrible day today... Accident
It has been a horrible horrible day today. I had an accident which involved a motorcyclist.
*sigh*... I got my local driving licence last week, and as this week was Hari Raya, the driver is off and there are less cars on the road. So, I drove out of the house with both H and a friend. I was only about 100 metres from the house, and was turning right from a traffic junction, and some reckless motorcycle just zoomed right in front of me. He was so quick that I didn't even see him come at all. I kept on thinking whether there was any way I could have avoided, and the answer was No. There were two motorcycles waiting at the light with me, and H was telling me "Be careful of the guy in front. He might swerve in front of you" and so I was extra careful...waited for my light to turn green, let those two guys go forward, saw that the cars on the right stopped at the red light. And out of the blue, this guy just appeared right in front of my car. He was going against the red light on his side and was going rather fast. I slammed into him lah.
*sigh* Spent the whole day shuttling between the hospital and police station. We offered to pay the hospital bills but not the repair of his bike. The repair may not be much but it's a matter of principles. I don't want to pay for everything as it might be seen that I am in the wrong. I am very confident to say that I was not in the wrong at all. The long wait was because we had to wait for the surgeon to come to see if he needed any operation as they suspected trauma in the chest. Thankfully, it was not required. The guy is admitted for observation for three days. Hopefull there are no adverse changes in his conditions. Although not my fault, also don't want to have my conscience lingering over me about this.
You can be so careful and yet there would always be stupid people around who just doesn't care about their lives. Found out that the guy did not have driving licence and was also involved in an accident last June with his son whereby son broke his leg which took 8 months to recover. And as we were leaving the hospital, saw that the guy peeling off his own bandages, and the orderly had to stop him. These people so tidak apa. And the policeman also want to makan duit only.
*sigh* In the morning, they retained my driving licence and car registration card and a policeman told us that we have to talk to the family first etc etc, and if can settle amongst ourselves and not go through the whole legal process, then we should sign a "statement" to agree settlement, and then I could get back my documents. But when all these were done, the policeman who attended to us earlier was not there, and it was another guy and he was very "wishy washy" and did not want to return our documents (the guy's wife was also there with us, and his registration was also retained by the police) and he outright told H's colleague (a local whom we got to help with communication with the family and police) that he wanted ~ RM 200 (equivalent) and I told her that I've paid some bills and don't have that amount, only about ~ RM 120. I spoke in English, and i guessed he understood. But she told him Only ~ RM 40 and told me to give him ~ RM 40 and I did. And he said "No. ~ RM 120 (equiv)". So I took another ~ RM 40 and started counting my tens and twenties to make up another ~ RM 40 equiv, and that was when the lady (the wife of the guy) started to kick and pinch me to stop over-paying the policeman. And H's colleague was also shaking her head,....so I kept back my tens and twenties... The police then accepted the ~ RM 80 and then proceeded to give back all our documetns. *sigh*...
Anyway, H was supposed to be on a flight to Frankfurt tonight.. actually was taking him to the office, whereby he would take a cab from the office... but thankfully, he was thoughtful enough to cancel his trip to be with me. I was a little bit shaken this morning, but am feeling better now. I know that it couldn't be avoided. At least it was I who was driving and not H, as he didn't have any licence here (his Malaysian one expired yonks ago). So..don't think will ever drive in this country again...
So, as H's trip was cancelled, we went to his colleagues Hari Raya open house. We took a cab and right at the same spot, our light was green and another motorcycle just dashed through his red light and whizzed passed us. It's another accident waiting to happen! !
I was a little shaken this morning, and am better now. The scary thing was that I did have premonitions that I would slam into a motorcyclist one day...these thoughts were when I was still living in Malaysia... Scary scary.. Anyway, not gonna think about it. It's not my fault.

Mad with Maid Again....
Will I ever stop from getting mad at the maids???
First..I saw that my toilet bowl was not scrubbed.... It was all splashed with water and so all wet but you could still see a speck of sh!t in the toilet bowl (either H's or mine or whoever, don't care lah..but it was there). Close one eye and scrubbed it myself....with the toilet brush lah of course. Was gonna let it go and not mention it. Just need to show the maids how to wash properly after the Raya holidays. Why after? Because they may not come back after the holidays ma...
Then, I was actually all dressed up nicely...going out already. Then don't know why, I walked out the service entrance upstairs (maids use this to enter the 1st floor of the house) and there I see the boys' bedsheets hanging side by side with the maid's. I instintively knew the maid mixed hers with the boys in the washing machine. Of course I screamed for her lah. Asked her if she mixed her sheets with the boys and she said YES. Wahh...I went ballistic already. Why the hell I buy so many thousand pails for? If she doesn't want to mix her clothes with the other maid's, why the hell did she mix her stuff with my sons?? I was really really so mad. I stood there barraging the two maids. Of course brought up the toilet bowl being unclean lah. Told them that I have certain quality standards, and already I close one eye on many things already, BUT there are some things that I just cannot tolerate. And that is mixing clothes all over the place. I think I went on for more than 15 minutes. Told them that if they think adhering to my rules and standards is too difficult, then they can leave.
Am soooo fed-up. I am trying to let go and not think about the stupid sheets, but the thought of her sheets being washed with my sons' is kinda geli lah. Don't know got period or not some more. And yes. I told her that only her husband wants to be in touch with her bodily fluids and we are NOT her husband. Bloody hell man.. Even I don't mix my stuff with my sons! The nerve of them..
Will probably ask them to re-wash the sheets. Geez...

Boo Hoo Hoo...
My beautiful orchids are starting to wilt. One by one, I see the flowers getting lembik. *sigh* good thing I took photos already. I don't know whether it is because that it is time for the flowers to wilt or is it the maid watered too much or too little? Don't know leh.. The guys (who sold the orchids) told me that they would last for a month. I guessed it must be some sales bullshit.
Anyway, weekend has been lazy lazy lazy. Yesterday, took boys to their swimming lessons at school, and then we went for lunch at a place called Penang House, I think. H had a Penang Prawn Mee and a Penang Char Kway Teow. Have to say they are not bad!! I had a fish head beehoon....also not bad ler.. Then we went off to buy some dvds to watch. Dropped the boys back and went out to the supermarket. Made lasagne for dinner, and then some smoothies...
Today... "pou" dvd, and then went out to the mall for a short period, as H wanted to have his hair cut.. then we came back home. Watched more dvds. Damn cialatt... weekend is really rotting and growing worms!

Laaaazzzzyyy Day
S2 had a fever which started yesterday. I was out at the craft fair with some ladies, and I called home and S1 told me that the brother had a fever. So, S2 did not go to school this morning. Thankfully, he was okay by this morning... but I kept him home just in case.
Had a massage lady come to the house ... I slept while she worked on me, and after that, I spent some time with S2 while he watched TV...and I slept again. Then woke up to make lunch for S2 (yes..I made lunch. Don't think the maids know how to make yet). We ate, and then both of us slept this time. Slept until S1 came back from school and woke us up.
Did some homework with S2, while S1 was writing or rather copying stuff from Pirates of the Caribbean. Really into Pirates stuff. He's got some Pirates Code and Drawings all stuck on his room door, and poster of Jack Sparrow too in his room. Anyway, maids were fiddling in the kitchen trying to make a simple pasta dinner, and then the LPG gas cylinder ran out of gas, so got the security guard to bring the cylinder from the maids' quarters to fix to my kitchen, but something wrong with the thingy (don't know what you call it) and gas was leaking out from the top. So, what to do?? Told them no need to cook lor. Took the boys out to dinner instead. Would be a real lazy day if not for the LPG cylinder. I would have been glued to one bed or another...
Nothing much ler..nothing much from the Craft fair. Bought some butterflies (fake one lah) to stick onto my house plants, a door stopper, a textile carved wooden hanger and a pair of shoes... H saw my shoe and thought it was UGLY and very Ah Lian. I thought it looked kinda nice. Will take a pic tomorrow to show you guys..

Beeeaaauuuutiful Orchids....
Thought that I should take pictures of my beautiful orchids before they die on me. Bought these on Tuesday (10th October)......In the morning, I went to buy the "blue/white" chinese
(reproduction lah, of course) bowl and then went to the orchid vendor to fill it up eith 6 pots of orchid into the bowl. Nice, huh?? Soooooo beeeeaaauuutiful.
The orchid guy said that it should last about a month, thereafter, I must chop off the stalk, move it out of the house, and then give it some liquid fertilizer... then it's waiting time for the next season of growth. Have to say again.. sooooo beautiful!!!
Also said not to water it since the bowl has no opening for extra water to flow out. So, it's a spray of water on the leaves every 2 days. Gave the instructions to the maids already. Hopefully, they don't kill my orchids prematurely. 6 pots of orchids costs about RM 70/-. Made the orchid guy give free arang batu.
As for the reproduction bowl... actually prefer reproduction. Don't really fancy antiques.
No.1 Don't know how to appreciate OLD OLD stuff.
No.2 Cost a huge bomb. Pay the extra $$$$ for worn and tattered stuff? For what??
No.3 Cannot tell REAL Antiques from Reproduction. Skali kena con.
Driver took me to a place where there were a row of antique stalls. Saw a "blue/white" plate and the fella wanted RM 800 for the plate. SIOW!!! My reproduction bowl so nice and only RM 60.
Gosh... some guy just called me house and actually asked "MJ?" (House address lah) and I said "Yes". And he said "Fk You!". I wonder who could that be. Could be the gardener? Maid-Y's husband?? AquaMan?? Don't know lah...
Am going out to a Craft Fair with some friends later this morning. Will see what goodies I can find. Will take pictures and update later.

Drought...
There is actually a drought here... Rain was supposed to come 1 1/2 months ago.... and it is still no where in sight. I've moved to the new house 1st Sept and I have yet to experience rain over here. As a result, my garden is like mega dry. Ground is like soooo dry that it is cracking. Grass is dying.. Mmm.. Think gardener and maid not doing job of watering the plants???
Also, it's soooo dry that it is also creating some problem with the swimming pool. Water evaporated and there is no replenishment from the rain. And stupid pool man emptied
the whole tangki into the swimming pool and left us with ZERO water. Of course cannot right? I mean the tangki is so small compared to the bloody swimming pool. I had to use some of my engineering skills to try to sort out the valving and such. Had to close off my pressure pump and activate the groundwater pump to fill up the tangki.. Realised that my water comes from the ground......GOD knows what shit is in the water.. but cannot exactly use bottled water to brush teeth too, right?
Anyway, hope rain comes soon.....not a whole lot but enough to fill up my swimming pool, give my plants and grass some nourishment and hydration, elevate the groundwater levels.. Come at night...very nice to sleep. :-)

Haaaaaazzzeee...
Haze that is!!! Everyone inMalaysia that I've come in contact with (via yahoo and msn messenger, via telephone) has asked me the same question "Is there haze over at your side??" Well the answer is NO. It's bright clear sunshine over here....Can even see buildings that are located in the CBD area from the South of town... Really very very clear.. Had coffee with H yesterday evening in the Golf Course, while waiting for boys to finish their Mandarin Classes...sat in the clubhouse that is slightly elevated. So it was breezy and kinda nice. Really could see miles and miles away ....
Later... got to go get ready.. Want to go and buy some pots for my houseplants...

Broadband out of Action...
Have not posted for a few days...almost a week actually ...due to the broadband in our area being maintained or repaired or whatever. Bottom line was there was no connection. Called the fellas at the service provider to inquire....at least they were helpful and knew what was going on and not the regular passing me from one dept to another... They even offered to come over to the house to check the line if it still doesn't work the next day...
Anyway, broadband back into action late Sunday (8th Oct) evening...
It is Tuesday, 10th Oct today...

Some updates...4th October
Nothing much happening lah... other than normal grouses from hired help...
It's Wednesday, 4th October today. Decided to stay put at home. "Lann Kai" whole day yesterday already....so obviously maid also take a day off when I was not around. How I know?? S2 had punched out some "flower-shaped" paper and there were some on the stairs on Monday evening,... and yesterday (Tuesday evening) I saw those flowers still on the floor. H said to warn the maid (ie Maid-A) and get rid of her if she doesn't want to work. But I decided to wait till today and see if those flowers are still there. Haven't checked... But you know hor...today I am IN the house, I see Maid-A mopping the terrace now... Otherwise sure.."thau lann" again.
The other day, H said "these two maids , not very smart is it?" ..he was away for 3 nights and when he came back, he was coughing so did not smoke (yup..still has not quit his smoking yet)... and the cigarette butts were still in the ash-tray after 4 days. They don't know how to empty it one leh...if you don't tell them. It's like everyday also must remind them to do certain thing.
This morning, S2 didn't drink his breakfast milk, so I told Maid-Y to keep it and I will drink it later..and she said YES. When I came back for the milk, she said that she threw it liow. Alamak!!!!
And...the gardener decided to NOT come to work today!! Think he doesn't want to work, I also don't want to employ replacement. Maids are soooo free, can ask them to do the garden as well... Otherwise, what do they do in the afternoons?? Tidur lah.....zzzzzzzzzzz
Boys... boys ponteng last Friday...need to go do our Residence permit and visas... and my god, not only they need our thumb-print, actually all TEN fingers and thumbs were required. Cialatt or not, you say?? Friend joked that she was surprised that they didn't require our toe prints!!! Ha hahaha...
Saturday? NOthing much ler..boys went for their swimming lessons at their school, which we have to pay extra lah, of course.. met some new Malaysian ladies...
Sunday?? Went to the market with some other ladies... over-bought food and fruits as usual.....
Monday? Cannot remember what I did lah.. on Monday.. Oh yeah.. H was ill so did not go to work.. So ended up watching telly the whole day ...up until about 4 pm, when I had to dash off to take boys to their mandarin class....
Tuesday..went out brunch and then exhibition with a friend. Supposed to be a textile exhibition, but ended liow..so instead, attended the furniture exhibition..okay ler.. on the way back, was really really jammed up. So instead of going home and then sending driver back out to pick H from the office again, I ended up picking H up...
Wednesday...well, today...is a veg-out day in the house for me... Maids must be hating me for staying at home!!! Ha haha..
Thursday, tomorrow...probably have to go to boys' school to help out in their reading sessions...this one is for S1. S2's is next Wednesday...
Until next time...cheerio...

Kids are cute...
The other day, S2 came back from school.. and was having a snack.. and then we had a convo..
S2: Mom... I am in love.
Me: Okay. Who are you in love with?
S2: I am in love with Tatyana. (Btw, she is Taiwanese / German mix... not bad looking lah)
Me: I see... does she love you too?
S2: I don't know. I have not asked her yet. But I looooveee her...
Then the next day, S2 folded an origami swan for her, and came downstairs and asked "mom..how do I spell Tatyana? I want to give her this "
Well, he wanted to write her name on the swan...
H was like soooooooooo proud of his son.... "kow lui" at this age... and said "That's my boy!!!" Geez....
Well, don't know what happened, but today...he came back from school and says he doesn't love her anymore...
Oh well... I shall sit and see lah.. just don't make me a grandmother in my forties!!! Or worse, thirties! I die liow... pengsan betul betul.
Oh..Oh.. this one is not about cute kids...but I was in Country Y, right... and teenagers these days soooo cialatt one ar? There were 3 couples having dinner across from us. One couple obviously was the parents lah..cause middle-aged and the other two couples are teenagers lah. At the dinner table, the young guy was like had HIS HAND on the girlfriend's tai-pei and was like sew-sew her leg. Aiyo.. where can like that?? I mean, ber-raba-raba behind closed doors okay lah.. but having dinner with parents?? I don't know...think I live in the dark ages lah. Cannot accept it lah. If next time, I see my son go meraba-raba girlfriend in front of me...I think I pengsan lah.
Okay lah...getting late. Nite nite..

Looooong Update
Maids...
Monday was my birthday... so of course not gonna cook lah. Planned to go out and have dinner lah.... Then guess what happened? Maid open fridge so many times also don't realise that the fridge was not turned on, and the stuff were not cold.. The plug somehow got loose lah...and EVERYTHING got defrosted. And I have just stuffed the freezer with new packs of nuggets, fish fingers, sausages, seafood and meat... What to do??? Have to cook those things immediately lah. Made soup, prawns, fish and meat balls lor. Gave all the defrosted nuggets and fish fingers to the maids to cook. Skali they think "wah...accidently defrost fridge, got so much goodies. Must do this more often". I told the maid "never want this to happen again"...
And, when we were having dinner, Maid-A was nowhere to be seen. H asked how come he never see Maid-A...like she is kinda lazy. He said that when she saw him, like quickly pretend to be sweeping floor. So... middle of our meal...still no sign of Maid-A. And H was like going to scoop soup for himself lah..then scoop rice lah.. (Maid-Y was cutting fruits and making juice..) and he was starting to get mad. He actually went to see what she was doing. Well, watching TV lor.. H was very very mad. All sorts lah..want to fire her lah. No tv till after 9 lah...etc etc. Anyway, of course I have to have a talk with the maids lah.
Tuesday...we had BBQ at home... when we finished dinner, of course left the two maids to clean up lah. Then so happens I came downstairs and saw that ALL the lights and fans were still on. Terrace lights on and terrace door still openned and not locked, BUT the maids have left the main house and locked the kitchen door... Of course I screamed for them to come and look lah.. This is WHAT I don't like. Simply simply quicky do work so can go watch tv. Like that, we gonna take tv away. Told them if I need to check everything that they do, I might as well do myself. No need to have live-in maid. Of course, they as usual...say YES. YES lor.. what else is new???
Aqua Man...
In my previous post, mentioned that Maid-Y gave a big chunk of tips to the Aqua man.. Well, this week..as usual..ordered 4 bottles of Aqua la. So, gave maid 50 and specifically told her to round up to 40 (actual cost is 38) and take back the change of 10. You know what?? the stupid Aqua Man told maid that he did not have the 10...expecting the tip. Wah... tell you???!!?? I was very very mad. Like that "EXPECT" kind leh. Like it's a GIVEN. Told Maid-Y "ask him to go and find change. And now, I want my change of 12 instead of 10. If he cannot get the change, ask him to take back the four bottles of Aqua. I don't want it". Really really beh-tahan.
Carved Stones..
Went to scout for carved stones on Tuesday with a new friend.. Was quite fun lah. Bought a carved stone garden lamp (RM 120) and ten carved stone tiles of 10 cm x 10 cm each(RM 40 for ten). Will take a photo soon... when I am up to it. :-) Wa... I quite lann-kaii tai wong ... Left house at about 8.30 am. Sent H to the office, then took the car to pick friend up. SUpposed to pick her at 9.30 am..but traffic was sooooo good that I actually reached her place at 9 am. So, had a cup of coffee there, chit-chat abit, then went to look at those carved stone stalls (lining up the side of the road one)...then had lunch...drop her back, pick H up (he left work early)..went to buy some DVDs, then to supermarket..by the time I got home, was already almost 5.10 pm. Cialatt....
Coffee Morning...
Boys' School PTA had a Coffee Morning for Newcomer's on Wednesday... so I went and kepoh lor. Have to say the hostess house very very big and terror. Told H about it, and he said "you also can have what... big big roman pillars INSIDE the house"...Aaannnywaay.. met some other Malaysian ladies there...exchange numbers lor..
Mandarin Class for Boys..
Boys started on their Mandarin class today... had a little tiff with H about it. I don't know is it because I am overly sensitive or what.. Anyway, enrolled them today in a center lah, and it's quite pricey lah.. About RM 1200 per child for 3 months, for 2 x a week at 1 1/2 hours each time. I recalled that we pay that amount for 3x a week at skylace, right? And H always said that over here is 30 - 50% more expensive than Malaysia. So, when I calculated...it's okay what. Plus they could squeeze the two boys into their classes (different class lah) in the days where S1 does not have after-school activities (which is Monday and Thursday. He has St.John's Ambulance on Tuesdays, Basketball on Wed and Badminton on Fridays). Anyway, H asked me how come I enrolled them even if I thought it was expensive... why we have to pay more than other people? Why maids also pay more than other people. And I sort of got a little bit cheesed off. I sound like I am defending my decision, but I thought the location was okay, not too far....(local standards lah..), and the start time of 4.30 pm is just right for the boys to come home at 3.20 pm, have a shower, a snack and then to the center. Also, didn't want to have private tuition at home because I wanted boys to be able to interact with other kids in Mandarin. Worked out that each session of 1 1/2 hr is about RM 47.. My Yoga also costs around that amount already lah... I compare like that..somehow makes the cost justifiable what.. Anyway, was pretty upset... and of course the usual crying on my side lah... AAANNYWAAAY...bottom line is, boys started in the center lah. S2 was very enthusiastic... as apparently there were two schoolmates in this chinese class. I don't know if the levels are correct, but they put them with children of same ages. The center uses SIngapore books, and the woman asked S1 to start with Primary 2B books whereas S2 is using Primary 1A. S1 seems to be doing easy stuff and S2 seems to be doing harder stuff...thought should be the other way round... Anyway, too leceh to go home after dropping the boys at the center..so went for a massage.. :-)

More Maids Stories...
Today's complaint is about Maid-A. As you know, I have been away from Friday morning (very very early. Left the house at 4.30 am for our 6.20 am flight...) and only came back this morning.
Came back, and went into my room...thought it had a funny smell. Then later, found out that rubbish in my bathroom has not been emptied... and it was MY rubbish before I left. That means not emptied on Friday, nor on Saturday nor on Sunday. Also saw the thick layer of dust on my bathroom shelf. I did one of those "dust test" on Thursday evening...and the mark I made was still there. Of course I asked Maid-A to come look lah. I said I not here, no need to clean up izit? She said she forgot to throw the rubbish. Wa... gave her a tongue lashing lah. I said "Friday forget, okay. Saturday forget? Sunday??" And for the shelf, she look at me and said that would mean she has to climb ontop of the counter. I told her, use the small step ladder lah. What is the ladder for??? Aiyo..
Okay nevermind.. after dinner, S2 wants to eat biscuit wor..so, I went into the kitchen to get him some lor, and hey... what do I see?? My CD player is missing from the counter. Of course, I called out to the maids lah. Maid-Y came running and I asked "where is my CD player?" and she said that it was in Maid-A's room. I told her to go bring it back, and I shouted for Maid-A to come.
Me: Didn't I tell you that the CD player is to remain in MY kitchen?
Maid-A: Yes. But sir says can borrow.
Me: When did he say?
Maid-A: The other day?
Me: You asked him again after I said to leave it in the kitchen?
Maid-A: Err..No.
Me: Then why you take my things??? (At this point, I was really really mad liow) In this house, I AM the boss. Not sir. FYI, I gave all my ex-maids radio cassette players, and YOU just couldn't wait, and have to take my things. I am very very mad!!
Of course I went on and on abit lah... Not sure she actually understood or not. But her head was like "tau tapp tapp" lah. Really lah..these people. Must lecture her again tomorrow.
okay lah... want to sleep liow lah..

I am bbbaaacccck....
Got back this morning.... H velly good. Actually followed driver to the airport to pick us up. Thought that he would be too lazy on a Sunday morning.
Overall, trip was pretty good. Although there were some "mang-chang" incidences... arrived at the aiport expecting the agent to be waiting at the arrival hall. Waited and waited. How come bo-lang one?? Called him on his mobile, and got a message that the "number is not in use". ALAMAK!!! Then called H, and he said the stupid fella called him... the mobile also salah, and he said the secretary didn't arrange for him to come pick us up so, I have to take cab to downtown. Apa-lah. I bo-lui some more. Nebermind...so trot to the nearest ATM and take money lor. Go take cab to downtown to the agent's office, then he said "one photo for each person!". Again ALAMAK!!! Thought the company all Kautim already. I just have to turn up with passport. Then, I have to bring two boys across a BIG road to the NEXT building to take instant photo. THen walk back, give passport..and just as I was about to leave..he says " You need to pay me $600 when you come collect the passport at a5 pm". I was like "huh? Isn't the company paying". He said "No. You pay me first, and then claim later.." I was like ALAMAK!!!! Got to go withdraw $600? ... But overall, was okay lah.. we did get our passports at 5 pm with the appropriate visa stickers. Just like that costs $200 per person. Cialatt...
What did I do?? Some shopping lor.. bought myself a bread maker, books (loads of books) for boys, a top for myself, 2 cheapo (but nice colours) shawls for myself and a chinesey necklace for myself.. Or yeah.. and bought a Mikimoto earring for myself. H says to go buy it. Needed a pair of pearl earrings after my existing one sort of "spoil"..not the pearl, but the stud thingy fell out and was kinda not worth it to repair. The jeweller said better to buy a new pair. So, have been hinting to H that I needed a new pair of pearl earrings, and he said "Mikimoto". I would have been contented with some "cha-pa-lak brand"... but he insisted "mikimoto or nothing". He is paying what.....so Mikimoto lah... After I bought it, texted H to tell him that I bought the earrings already, and is $620 and his remark was "so cheap? Why don't you get something more expensive?" ... I thought for a pair of pearl earrings is quite expensive liow leh.. Funny thing was not long after I left the shop, someone passed me a flyer from a jewellery shop advertising for pearl earrings at $19 per pair. Soooooo big difference in price from my Mikimoto... Even at Mikimoto also got different range. Got freshwater lah, got deep sea lah, got those grow in an oyster lah or grow in a mussel lah. Was looking at the deep sea one lah, grow in OYSTER one.. (hee hee hee) looking at 7 mm vs 7.5 mm. Price very big difference leh $620 vs $1100 wor.. and you can't really see the size difference when you wear it. Only see difference when they are put side by side. So, of course knowing me...get the smaller one lah. Actually did look at a bigger one...think was 8.5 mm. Deep sea grow in oyster is $2600 and in mussel is about $1200. Was quite tempted to go for the Mussel one... but the lady like put a funny face "Grow in mussel " and it did looked kinda big on my ear, like fake one. Plus I not that old to wear big pearls yet lah... Actually, who would know whether I wear Mikimoto or "cha-pa-lak" brand leh???? Only I know and the few people lor...

How to keep maids busy???.
As per my previous post, I have two maids in the house. I have been told by people that I should keep them busy busy busy, so that they will not think about all sorts of nonsense and thus do nonsense. Why do I ask this question?? I started back on my oil painting today... (Gosh...have not painted for more than 3 years...so abit rusty lah) and was kinda engrossed in it....so was quite oblivious to what was happening lah. Anyways, painted the whole morning .... till Maid-Y came to tell me that driver has returned and he said that the car has no more gasoline. Okay....I looked at my watch and it was about 12. Cleaned my brushes etc and all. Had some other stuff which I wanted the maid to keep, so shouted for Maid-A. When she came, could see that she just woke up. Actually, same as the other day...when I saw her in the afternoon, she has the "just awaken" look. So...Maid-A has been taking constant naps. Even I don't nap that much!!! But how to tell her outright "Cannot Nap"?? I have to do it subtly lah. Like shout for her to do things. But do WHAT??? Ask her to mop floor twice a day?? What? WHat?? Give some suggestions lah.
Also, she was wearing some funny spaggetti (is that how you spell it??) strap top. At first I sort of kept quiet... pondering a way to tell her to not wear such things. Then, later when she came into the kitchen, I could see bits of her upper hip and told her off. Said I could see her butt. Of course she immediately went to change lah. These people lah...you keep quiet, they think they can do anything. The driver is her uncle...so, gonna ask him to reprimand her. This one, a bit young lah... think is that kind that is "chatt chatt tiew" one if don't be stern with her. Told Maid-Y to "look after" her... Not sure if it's any good but at least she's married and older...hopefully more mature and can advise Maid-A on matters, whatever they may be. Oh yeah.. my S2 sort of refer her as the "baby kakak". Hahaha...
Anyway, maids aside... Left my half completed painting out on the terrace. S1 asked me if I was gonna bring it in, and I said NO. And both boys said "what if someone comes and steal it?"... kekeke...as if my painting is so valuable meh? Not Van Gogh nor Picasso lei. Told them nobody will steal mommy's painting one lah. And they were quite adamant that some "picture thief" was gonna come and steal my painting. Kekeke. I so terror meh??? kekeke. Kids!!!
Today, went for hair wash and mani/pedi. Tomollow travelling ma... Will not be posting again until I return on Sunday... tata...

Out in the Twilight Zone..
Must have been out in the Twilight Zone... Really didn't know about the coup in Thailand until numerous friends emailed me with the "thank goodness you are not there".... Well, Thailand was our home a few years back in our constant nomadic stance. :-)
Have not been following the news around the world... Quite quite bad, huh? Didn't subscribe to the daily English newspapers. Didn't want to pay!! :-P Ya..lor "Kiam Siap" lor... kekeke...
Will be flying off to Country Y this Friday to sort out our residence visa for Country X. Don't ask me why we have to fly out one. But we must. So boys will be missing school on Friday. Since I have some relatives in Country Y, and my mom will come meet us in Country Y, we will extend our trip till Sunday morning, that is if we manage to get seats on the return flight. Currently, we are booked to depart Country X in the wee hours of the morning, and to fly back at 9 pm the same night. Extension is good too as I can buy some stuff like foods and books. Not that I can't get foods and books in Country X...it's just that I am kinda Kiasu lah.. Country X expensive ma.
I have not bought sundries or groceries for ages so don't know how much things generally cost...but those stuff that we are used to eating, is kinda expensive in Country X. I mean if I buy their local brand then very cheap lah...but somehow, certain things need to use the brand that I am used to leh.
BOys are back...so, I better go now..

Today Gardener bo lai...
Today, Monday the 18th.... Gardener bo lai leh... All these hired help really don't know what to say leh. Nothing much ler.. So sleepy and lazy to unpack and organise stuff. Want to have my nap already...which I will do so, before my two monsters come back in about 2 hour's time.
Didn't do much today.... In the morning, was writing some instructions for the maids to be taped-up on the wall in the "ironing room". Then chatted on Messenger, then went to Carrefour to buy some stuff. Came back, had an egg mayo sandwich... cleared up the store room alittle bit, and here I am ...all ready to vegetate for two hours...

Other Stuff.....(i.e. No maid stories...)
Let's See...
My previous previous post was about the RED sofa, wasn't it??? Well, I offered H a solution to the RED sofa so that he doesn't have to face it.... I told him that I will TAKE OVER the "Chinese Room"... He he he.. Of course he said that it would be in my dreams lah... Now the room is so messy man. Because it's going to be basically a TV room, I've dumped everything (LD Player lah... yes! We still have a working one!!! Ooops...better not say so soon..., DVDs, LDs, VCDs, cables and such) related to this room. So, very very "duan" now. Laundryamah asked how come we didn't choose the sofa together... H said he is BZ ma.. so, I choose lor. Anyway, my RED sofa didn't scare him that much.. He has asked me to go look for a "Chinesey" looking table for his Plasma TV to sit on. So, will probably do it the next few days la...
Another thing to buy is a deck chair for outside, so that I can lie down a bit lah when supervising boys' swim. When we relocate again how ah??? Sell stuff lor... how to cart everything back?? When we came over, the container already soooooo full. Have to leave quite alot of things behind. Definitely have to sell things when we move. But don't want to think now lah.. I haven't even unpacked everything as of this minute..want to think of another move, ar?? Die man. Actually, H said "Don't me surprise if we have to pack up and move in six months!" I almost fell into the pool...
Speaking of falling into the pool.. Was surpervising boys swimming the other day, and I was at the edge.. I was playing with the boys, and H pushed me into the pool. I was fully-clothed. Of course, all wet lah..
Went on an "antique" buying trip with some ladies yesterday (Saturday lah) . Nope...didn't buy anything. Not really into antiques... A bit "gili" lah. Somehow very scared of lost spirits sticking to the antiques. Don't say "siow"...when I was living in Country Y, I also didn't work lah.. so very "takk hann" so always go gallavanting lah... There was this antique shop lah. I went in, and immediately my heart felt really really uneasy. Just cannot explain the feeling lah.. Just very uneasy. Fast fast leave lah.. stay there for what. The moment I left the shop, I felt sooooo much better. Another incident was when S2 was with me... (S1 in school mah... S2 still very young) and again went to this shop that sells bric-a-bracs lah, and S2 was very very uneasy. He kept saying "go out. go out" with his limited vocab then. Anyway, prefer reproductions. All this jumping in and out of the car also can get sun burned. So sakit lah my arm... Well, did buy some necklaces.. (amethyst, turquoise, etc etc... don't know what else but there's a pinkish one lah, greenish one lah, dark green lah, dark brown lah...) from street vendors. Don't know real ones or not, but bought 3 long necklances, 6 short ones and 5 bracelets for equivalent of RM 56. Also bought some fruits. Thought they were very cheap...ladies told me to bargain some more.. 2 Pineapples for RM 2.50, 1 kg avocados for RM 3.20 and 4 small boxes of blackberries for RM 4. After that, went a very "lor mann" place for dinner.... candles and stone sculptures kind. All and all, it was quite fun. By the way, I only met these ladies for the first time yesterday!!! Supposed to go with my lady friend but she had the flu and opted out in the last minute. Of course I continue to go lah.. don't tell me I also don't go meh??? It was quite fun lah these ladies... kinda much older than I am but somehow still okay. Was supposed to join them on a Marketing Trip to the local Chinatown this morning...but H has a golf tournament, so I have to take a rain check and be with the boys lor...
Speaking of the local Chinatown..went with my friend (the one that had the flu) last Saturday... Market quite good la. Got fresh kwayteow, fresh mee, beancurd, pork etc.. We had chakwe too. Met a HK guy who opened his own shop that sells "siew yoke, char siew, siew ngap" etc etc. I ran out of money so didn't buy any from him, but I asked for his namecard lah...and the guy handed be a whole chunk and told me to distribute for him. ha ha...Oh yeah...highlight of the day...ha ha ha... chakwe man flirted with me...and I didn't even know leh....s0 blurr...
Other stuff... H was soooooooooooo DRUNK on Friday! Asked us to meet him for dinner at a fancy Italian Restaurant in a hotel, but he ended up being sort of carried up by his colleaque. He was slurring like crazy. Made me ta-pow my dinner to take him home because he felt very very shitty. So expensive some more leh.. USD 100 for me, and two boys only leh. H didn't eat lah.. Was so00000 drunk. I had to bring him to the loo to puke, okay!! And guess what?? he didn't know where his wallet nor his phone nor his tag was. The whole way back, he was puking in the car!!!! S2 was sooooo scared that he said "I don't want daddy to die!". H was a real total goner man. Anyway, surprisingly he was OK at 2 am in the morning... and started to worry about his LOST wallet, tag and phone... Oh yeah, made me wake up to re-heat the ta-pow food for him to eat... and asked "How did the three of you eat USD 100???" Well...that question really showed that he was SOBER!!! Early next morning, he called the colleague who brought him to the hotel and he was told that his tag is in the office... So, off H trodded to the office... Luckily his tag and wallet were still around .... but no sight of the phone. (Wallet very important lah.... skali no wallet, no ATM card, I also no "ka-yoong" what...) So, H is using a temp prepaid. I tell you... I was soooooooo tempted to say "serves you right for drinking your brains out"!!! :-) Bet he knew the hassles...
Okay, signing off for the day... nite nite everyone...

More Maid Stories...
I just gave the "Dummy's Guide to Preparing a Sandwich" to Maid-Y. She actually saw me prepare a ham sandwich this morning already. So basically told her to prepare one tomorrow for my older son (whom I shall now call S1, and S2 will refer to second son) to bring to school as packed lunch. After all the so-called instructions, she actually asked if she is to cut the bread into half. Half as in not the half that we normally do, but half as in making the slice even thinner!!! Alamak!! The only thing that I asked her to cut was the bread "skin" leh... how come become cut the bread into thinner, I also don't know.
I literally said "Take 2 slices of bread, put on a plate. Take a knife. Cut off the skin. Throw the skin. Take the butter and put on the bread. Put two slices of ham, and one slice of cheese in between the two bread. Then wrap the sandwich. Put inside the box" ....
Anyway,...will see how the sandwich looks like tomorrow.

My Maid Stories Have Begun...
Today is Sunday, 17th September. Have to type the date in because I still have not figured out how to change the settings on the time zone.
Maid No.1 has just made me a little cross. Maybe shouldn't call her No.1 cause she is certainly not No.1, so I shall call her Maid-A, A because it's her initials..Not that she is of Grade "A" either... Anyway, Maid-A just came and asked me for an adaptor. She said that my H (decided to refer hubby as H from now one) has asked her to bring the boys' CD Player to the Staff quarters and she needs an adaptor for the socket. (Country X uses some stupid kind of socket that I have to buy thousands of adaptors to fit my applicances to their type of socket.) I told her "No. Put it in the kitchen." and she still continued to blab that H told her that they could use it. I had to say sternly "No. I want to listen to music when I am cooking. Put it in the kitchen".... Have to say that I am a bit "p#ssed off".
And the other maid, whom I shall call Maid-Y also rather dumbo the other day. I gave her money to pay the bottled water delivery man, and I expected change. She sooooo smart and went to give all the change to the man as TIPS. Apa-lah. So bodoh lah.
And you know me, I have my different pails for washing different things...already explained to them what pail is used for what, and still making mistake. Want to "tor huit" soon.. but not worth it lah, huh... just relax relax and go for another spa session. :-)
Basically, I have been "scolded" both by H and friends for over-paying both maids. Apparently, I should be paying them HALF of what I am paying them now... But half only means RM 120 wor. That is kinda sedikit. Anyway, I am paying them equivalent to RM 240 each. They provide own food. I only give them toothpaste, sugar, instant noodles, tea, shampoo and soap. That was the deal lah. But H told me to give them some rice too. So I did give them a bag of 5 kg rice to share between the two of them. Sometimes, I also give them some veges from my fridge lor...So, they are already getting a very very good deal from me leh... Some more let them have one day a month off... Where got so good if they work for locals??? They cant' work for Mat Sallehs because they can't speak English and certainly don't know much..
Okay, Maid-A does know abit of the "hired help protocol" lah. She did work as a maid for about 1 1/2 years, I think. My house have a side entrance to the upstairs, and Maid-Y was gonna use the "normal" stairs to go upstairs to clean-up boys' room, but then Maid-A told Maid-Y that she should use the side stairways and use the side-entrance.
Maid-Y very very inexperienced. So definitely will not get RM 240 equivalent elsewhere. So, I have used this fact to tell her that she better learn and adhere to MY WAYS. Aiya, took her in because it probably would be easier to train her than someone who has "bad habits" entrenched in working for someone else. She is about 23 years old, I think...(got to check..have her ID somewhere in my room), married with a 2 1/2 year old. Think her hubby and son came just now. Saw a man sitting outside the house. Security guard will not allow him into the house compound. But think I have to remind them again...just in case. Anyway, she went to school till age 19, which is quite a rarity in this country, but her English is quite non-existent. But she is quite eager to learn lah. Anyway, Maid-Y is supposed to cook and do sort out anything that concerns the boys, ie. their laundry, clean their room, sort out their toys, their food etc etc.
Okay...got to go be a cook now... Need to teach Maid-Y how to cook "Mee Suah Soup" for dinner. H not eating tonight (gone for golf tournament) so can eat more simply....
Later...

Think someone asked why I needed two maids...Is it because I live in a mansion or what?? Well, basically, I don't live in a mansion. In Malaysia, one maid "pow kar liow". Over here, the maids over here are kinda "specialised" lah.. They have one to clean, one to cook, one as nanny, one as housekeeper etc. That's why the houses all have loads of rooms for the hired help. My place has 4 rooms for the hired help leh. Anyway, need more than one maid generally because they generally want to have company, plus they tend to "rest/ nap" (??!?!?) in the afternoons too!!! But that is quite the norm I am told. I do not tell them that they can sleep lah, of course. But if I got something for them to do, sure I call them to do lah. WHere got say, "You sleeping? It is okay!". Siow, meh???
So, in my house, Maid-A generally does cleaning. There are simple gadgets that can actually smoothen the bedsheets when they make the bed. Have to say the bed is made-up to very nice lah. And she also tidies up all the clothes in the cupboard...all lined up till very neat. Maid-A very young leh.. only 18 though. Commented something the other about Maid-A, and my young son said "Of course she cannot do it well!! She is just a teenager!!!" Thought that was kinda funny.
Maid-Y very very inexperienced. So definitely will not get RM 240 equivalent elsewhere. So, I have used this fact to tell her that she better learn and adhere to MY WAYS. Okay...red sofa has been delivered. Thought it looked kinda okay. However, hubby came back and had a shock!!! He asked "why so red? why so red?". So, guessed he was disappointed with the colour.. and then he added "but can't do anything already lah".... So, I also get affected by his reaction over the sofa. I can't help but being bothered by the whole episode... I know I know.. nothing can be done unless I want to spend more money, right???
I know it is silly...but I kept thinking to myself that maybe hubby and my taste NOT the same anymore... and the thoughts of negativity starts to grow from there. Okay...need to stop. Need to stop!! But think that I need to sleep over it. Can't get it out of my mind...
Oh...also got our "new" car from the leasing company. Not "new" new. Just that we are changing one leased car to another... So, maybe take it out for a spin later.. Hubby already sent driver home though... Hubby went out for drinks with some WOMEN yesterday. I was fast asleep when he came back. So don't know what time that was. But this morning, I went out to the garage to try to speak to the driver, he was fast asleep on his easy-chair. And after lunch too...I went out and again he was fast asleep. And not only that, he looked kinda scruffy with the stubbles and all. So, I sort of assumed that Hubby was out late gallavanting... Will see if I have the guts to drive the car out for a spin in the horrendous traffic jams that this city is famous for...
Better go now... boys are frolicking in the pool ... Me? Lounging inside the living room...but can hear them LOUD and CLEAR... Also have the maids outside keeping an eye on them...
